How can I determine whether my current HVAC system needs repair or a full replacement?

There are a few factors to consider. The age of the equipment; warranty status; the cost to repair; and is it a property you are selling or your forever home? If your system breaks down, get an HVAC repair or system replacement estimate. Compare repair and replacement estimates. If the repairs costs are half as much as a new system, it’s time to replace it.

What are the latest energy-efficient models available, and how do they compare to my current system?

The higher the seer the more energy efficient. Trane and Goodman Systems are among the top 10 efficient systems.

Can you provide an estimate for both repairing my existing system and for installing a new one?

We offer free estimates for system replacement only. We do charge a diagnostic fee to check your system and give the cost for repairs. However, once you approve the repairs, we do not charge a second visit within 30 days of diagnosing.

What factors should I consider when choosing between different HVAC models and brands?

Quality of brand and company reputation.

What financing options are available for a new HVAC system installation?


Are there any current promotions, rebates, or tax credits available for installing an energy-efficient system?

Yes. The Inflation Reduction Act increased the benefits for energy efficient home improvements for 2023 through 2030.

How long will the installation process take, and what preparation is needed from my side?

It will depend on the number of systems being replaced or installed. It generally takes two to three days. The only preparation that will be required from the owner would be clear access to crawl space and attic.

How can I improve the air quality in my home through my HVAC system?

Change dirty filters; schedule regular maintenance; and invest in indoor air quality products

Do you offer emergency repair services, and what is the typical response time?

Our response time will depend on when we receive your request. Our normal business hours are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. There is a service technician on call from 5pm to 7pm on weekdays and from 8a.m. to 7p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Can you explain the warranties provided for new installations and how they work?

We offer one-year labor and ten years parts warranty.

Are there any smart thermostats that can be integrated with the new HVAC system for improved efficiency?

Yes, there are many brands and models available.

What are the signs that my ductwork needs cleaning or repair?

A few signs to look for are odors, excess dust, water damage and mold.

How does my home's insulation affect my HVAC system's efficiency, and do you offer services to improve it?

The better the home is insulated the better your HVAC will perform. We offer preventative maintenance contracts to help optimize your unit’s performance.

Can you help me understand how zoning systems work and if it's suitable for my home?

Zoning divides your home into multiple zones, each controlled by its own thermostat which allows you to set each room to the ideal temperature for you instead of heating or cooling entire home.

What are the environmental benefits of upgrading to a more energy-efficient HVAC system?

High efficiency reduces carbon emissions by using less energy. Also, there is now eco-friendly freon available.

How do I schedule an appointment for a consultation or service, and what information will you need from me?

What steps does Nathan's take to ensure the safety and cleanliness of my home during the installation or repair process?

We wear booties before entering a home, put down drop cloths, plastic, or paper runners and upon request, wear a mask.
